Description

A lovely family home that has 7 very comfortable rooms for guests. The gardens look out over the nearby river and wetlands, and there are hundreds of birds to watch just from the screened dining room or the veranda.

Activities

Excursions by boat up the river allow plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities, including giant river otters, jaburu storks, monkeys and wild peccories. The pousada has a truck too for bird-spotting trips by land.

Accommodation

Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, and there is a spacious lounge, full of books on the region. Food is prepared by the hostess and is delicious and plentiful. There is an outside dining room and sun-loungers in the garden for relaxing by the stream.
