Description

A comfortable pousada with character and charm in the fashionable coastal town of Armação de Búzios. It is a short walk from the village centre, overlooks the bay and harbour and has a small pool. The 27 sandy coves spread around a peninsula, most with lovely beaches, are easily reached by hiring a buggy.

Activities

The hotel can help to organise a wide variety of activities: diving excursions and courses, sailing, cycling and riding as well as a range of water sports. There is also a golf course nearby.

Accommodation

21 rooms all with private bathrooms, air-conditioning, television, minibar, safe, music and telephone. The 2 super deluxe rooms have an ocean view, private balcony and a jacuzzi, the deluxe rooms have an ocean view and the standard rooms have a view of the garden. Breakfast can be served in your room or on the terrace. There is a bar but no restaurant for lunch and dinner as there are many good restaurants close by.

Our comments

Not on a beach but within easy access. Buggies are the best way of getting around and there is free parking at the pousada. The village centre, with its profusion of bars, shops and restaurants is only a 3-minute walk away.

When to go

It can be quite cool in July and August and is hottest from December to February (also the busiest time of year and more expensive with national holidays).
