Northern Peru
explore the mysterious civilisations and archaeology of the remote regions of northern Peru
An 11 day itinerary exploring the lost civilisations and dramatic landscapes of the Chachapoyas region and coastal plains of Peru. This less trodden area is littered with ancient tombs, temples, fortresses and pyramids, many of which, such as Kuelap fortress, are still being excavated and archaeologists can be seen at work.
