Description

A beautiful hotel set in gardens and facing the ocean with a wonderful view of cave arches out in the bay, a really lovely aspect. It is possible to watch whales (during December to March) from the bar, restaurant and ocean-front bedrooms.

Activities

The spa is extremely well done, low key but with consumate attention to every detail. The attractive pool is large enough for swimming but is for adults only. Villas with private pools are available for families with children. Although the hotel has access to two private beaches, guests are strongly advised not to go in the sea due to dangerous waves and undercurrents. There is live music in the bar at weekends during high season.

Accommodation

Bedrooms are very comfortable with a terrace, some with hammock and others with private plunge pool. Binoculars are provided in the room for spotting whales or dolphins. Fruit skewers, books and ipods are all complimentary.

Our comments

Sitting in the open-air restaurant under the stars and listening to the pounding surf, while eating wonderful fresh fish and enjoying the excellent wines and tequilas is an absolute highlight of this hotel.
