Description

A beautifully renovated 1920's mansion in Santiago's historic downtown, at the foot of Santa Lucía Hill and a short walk from the Lastarria neighbourhood. The mansion was originally built as a family home and after a lengthy renovation has been returned to its original beauty with original fittings rescued and paired with more modern fixtures. Common areas include a library, lobby bar, rooftop terrace with bar and a restaurant.

Accommodation

The 42 rooms are all beautifully decorated and spacious. The first three floors were the original buildling and a further three have been added. Access to some rooms is via glass walkways.

Our comments

In a wonderful location for exploring central Santiago and some of its more bohemian districts on foot.

Really liked the Hotel Magnolia in Santiago. We had some delicious dinners out in Vitacura, which was an entertaining and lively area. - EH (January 2024)
