We found our room very hot and the building generally creaky from the wood. There was also a noisy restaurant and busy road nearby. - CS (February 2024)

Palafito 1326 was very comfortable and we were happy it was small. It is right on the tidal inlet, so great for sitting and watching birds and sipping drinks. Easy to park, but the road coming into Castro from the north was surprisingly busy, a real bottleneck even off season it seems. - AC (March 2020)
