The Isla del Sol was such a lovely place to visit. After walking up to the hotel La Estancia, we were given a free upgrade to their suite which was really lovely and had the most amazing views!! But - it didn't have the clever little heating system the little cabañas had, so at 4 am we put the second huge alpaca blanket on the bed. The donkey transfer worked well too, and the donkeys look like they were loved and cared for. It was a lovely place to stay - very quiet after La Paz!! - SH (September 2018)
